Provides harm reduction supplies, harm reduction education and referrals to health services, addictions services, and other social supports. Provides safer drug use supplies such as straight and bowl pipes, mouthpiece and screens, and injection supplies. Provides safer sex supplies, including condoms. The VANDU Overdose Prevention Site (OPS) is a place with 4 stations where people who use drugs can be safely monitored and treated immediately if they overdose. Peer support staff are equipped and trained in administering naloxone.

Covid-19 Update (June 2021): Masks are mandatory in the VANDU space, and will be enforced until told by Vancouver Coastal Health indicates otherwise. The drop in space and OPS is open but has limited the number of people allowed in the building due to social distancing orders. Only one person at a time can use the bathroom. Daily meetings are being held but have limited their number of participants. Access to all harm reduction supplies is not limited. General VANDU Office hours are 10 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
