Extreme Weather Alert November 29-30, 2023 due to: feels like temperatures at or below 0°C

An extreme weather alert has been issued for Vancouver.  Please come into listed shelter spaces to get out of the elements.

Directions Youth Services Centre - 1138 Burrard St
10:00 pm - 7:00 am for EWR program
Will provide overnight accommodation to 10 individuals (24 year of age and under). 
Mats provided after midnight. Pets accepted to a maximum of four (4) animals. Wheelchair accessible.

Aboriginal Front Door – 390 Main St (Entrance at 205 East Hastings)
11 pm - 7 am   Please check in before 11pm for storage options
Drinks and snacks served. Storage daily. Couples welcome.

The Salvation Army Belkin House EWR – 555 Homer St
9:00 pm - 7:00 am  (breakfast served at 7:30am)
Can accommodate 15 men and 5 women. Not wheelchair accessible. No pets.

The Nest – 320 Alexandar Street - Entrance at white gate. Ring buzzer for access. 
8pm to 7:30am. Dinner and a cold breakfast served
Can accommodate 20 individuals. Shelter services are for Transgender, gender diverse, and two-spirit people only. Site is fully accessible and pet friendly. No cart storage. Showers and transit

Covenant House – 1280 Seymour Street - Brightly lit entrance with a Covenant House sign 
10:30pm to 9am. Final intake is at 12am.
Youth (16 to 24 years)  Wheelchair accessible. Hygiene products, showers, soup, snacks, and juice boxes available. No pets. No cart storage. Cannot accommodate couples. Small lockers are provided for personal belongings.

Marpole Neighbourhood House EWR Shelter – 8585 Hudson Street - entrance around the side of the building (North facing).
9:30pm to 7:15am. 
Dinner, breakfast, and snacks served. Site is
wheelchair accessible and pet friendly. No cart storage.
